Forty years of classical formulation
Vaidya Shri Ram Prakash Ji is the master Ayurvedic formulator whose forty-year legacy the HerbOcean line is built on. His work sits squarely in the classical tradition: medicated oils (Taila), medicated pastes (Lepa), and oils processed with milk (Kshira-paka) — including the goat-milk method behind Soundarya Tailam — prepared the long way, herb by herb, to written formulation sheets.
Each of the HerbOcean preparations is manufactured in-house in Delhi to his formulations under AYUSH Licence DL-474 A&U, with the complete ingredient register declared on every product. Nothing in the range is licensed-in or white-labelled.
Why his name appears on our pages
Articles in the HerbOcean Journal and the product pages carry his name as the formulator of the range. The classical grounding of what we publish — which herb belongs to which tradition, what a preparation is classically indicated for, where honest limits lie — rests on the formulation practice the products actually come from. Editorial responsibility for the pages themselves sits with the Roshni Botanicals formulation desk. Where a condition needs a doctor, our pages say so plainly.
The brand itself is named for its late founder, Roshni (d. 19 October 2023), whose conviction in classical Ayurveda the company continues; the formulations are and have always been the vaidya’s.
